How do I book?

Our booking process is incredibly straightforward! Just click on 'Book Now' for your chosen experience, which will direct you to the booking page. Choose the quantity of tickets and the date, then click 'Book Now.' Fill out the online form, follow the payment instructions, and you're good to go! Once booked, expect a confirmation email from us. Please note: As a commitment to our Eco Sustainable practices, we use a digital check-in system so there is no need to print anything out. Just show up on the day.

What are my payment options?

All payments are made via our secure payment gateway - Stripe using Visa or Mastercard. Please note that any credit card payments due incur a small fee. If you wish to avoid paying the fee then bank transfers are also an option. Payment must be received within 24hrs for your booking to be held. Payment plans are available on any multiday experience.

How do I redeem my Gift Voucher?

Gift vouchers are very easy to redeem with each voucher allocated a unique redemption code made up of letters and numbers. eg: DLS3GPR Simply enter this code into when you enter the payment section of your booking.

What happens if I need to cancel or the experience is cancelled on me?

Due to the extensive organization and meticulous planning that is involved with creating experiences, activities, tours, programs and service offerings, once a booking has been made a strict cancellation fee will be applicable to compensate for costs and lost revenue. Please check our Terms & Conditions for all cancellations fees.

I have booked, but what happens now?

You've locked in what is going to be an incredible experience Down Under! By now you should have received an automated confirmation detailing your experience. As the event approaches, anticipate a reminder email a few days prior with specifics like the meeting point, time, necessary items, and weather updates. For any additional adventure details, please don't hesitate to reach out to us anytime!

What is the average size of the groups you have on tour?

At Down Under Discoveries, we intentionally limit our group sizes to less than 10 individuals. This deliberate choice allows us to offer personalized experiences where our team can connect with each participant. By keeping the groups small, we ensure that everyone receives individual attention, fostering a more engaging and enriching experience for all involved.

Can I know more about the tour guides experience & expertise?

Our lead guide Chelle is a certified eco guide through the prestigious Savannah Guides program, an integral part of Eco Tourism Australia's accreditation initiative. Both Chelle and Dave hold qualifications in first aid, Chelle specifically trained in Wilderness First Aid. Moreover, our team possesses comprehensive expertise in Kayaking Tours, supported by relevant qualifications. Combined, our current Team Down Under boasts over 30 years of extensive experience organizing tours and adventures in outdoor settings. This wealth of experience ensures that our guides possess an in-depth understanding of the environments we explore and are adept at delivering safe, educational, and memorable experiences for our participants.

What do I need to bring on the tour?

For every experience we offer, there's a dedicated "What to Bring" section provided. This essential information is also reiterated on the booking confirmation to ensure participants have everything they need for their adventure. If there's any uncertainty or additional queries regarding what to bring, participants are encouraged to reach out to us at any time. Your comfort and preparedness for the experience are our priorities, and we're here to help with any concerns or questions you may have.

Are there age restrictions on your tours?

We prioritize safety and comfort for all participants in our experiences. While we don't have strict age limits, certain adventures may have specific physical requirements due to the nature of the activity. For instance, kayaking experiences might not be suitable for babies or very young children due to safety concerns related to physical capabilities. Our tours are designed to accommodate various age groups, and details about the difficulty level, distance, and suitability for families are provided on each tour page. Some hikes are tailored for families, ensuring enjoyment for both kids and adults, while others might involve more challenging terrains, suited for those with prior hiking experience. For families considering more challenging hikes with their children, we encourage reaching out to us for individual assessments. We're committed to ensuring that everyone has the information needed to make the best choice for their adventure. Ticket options often include children's prices for family-friendly experiences, and our aim is to make our offerings as inclusive and enjoyable as possible for all participants.
