Down Under Discoveries is thrilled to be bringing the 'Waterways Adventure Hub' to local waters this summer with the addition of the Chillboats Waterbikes! Our pop-up hub is planned for the scenic Inner Marina Waters, the perfect location to kick off your summer explorations. Whilst we eagerly await final approval for our allocation, we want you to know that we are ready to dive in as soon as the green light is given. Although we can't take any summer bookings at this stage due to the uncertainty of where we will be, to build the excitement, we’re offering a 'limited-time pre-launch 10% off hire special' on our brand-new 'Chilliboat Water Bikes' during the upcoming school holidays over 3 days. We supply: Waterbike, life jacket, dry bag, route suggestions & safety briefing.
Equipment details: We use the Chilliboat Waterbikes, designed in a catamaran configuration for unparalleled stability, making it virtually impossible to fall into the water. Unlike SUPs or traditional bikes, no balance is required, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for all. These Waterbikes can reach top speeds of up to 15 km/h, with an average cruising speed of 5-6 km/h, perfect for keeping pace with Mandurah's playful dolphins. The faster you pedal, the more of a workout you'll get! Children must be at least 8 years old or 120cm tall to ride, ensuring they can comfortably reach the pedals. The bikes have a weight limit of 120kg and feature adjustable seats and handlebars to accommodate different leg lengths. For safety, all riders must wear a life jacket, with options for both manual and standard jackets based on swimming abilities.
Cost & Duration:
30min hire: $35 adults, $25 child (8-12), $100 family pass (2A+2C or 1A+3C)
60min hire: $55 adults, $35 child (8-12), $140 family pass (2A+2C or 1A+3C)

Mandurah Bridge Carpark
Please allow plenty of travel time getting to your destination. Late arrivals risk less time on the water as we often have to stick to strict drop off/pick up times.

Riding trails length & difficulty
There is an abundance of options to cater to all needs.
No riding experience is needed. We provide you a safety briefing and show you how to ride our very stable Waterbikes.
Are the hire options child friendly
Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age for participation is 8 years old and must be at least 120cm tall.
Do the waterbikes have weight limits?
Yes. Your safety is important to us therefore we must stick within our equipment carrying capabilities.

What happens if it is too windy?
If we need to cancel due to weather conditions (too windy), alternative dates will be offered. If you purchased your hire directly through Down Under Discoveries and there is no suitable alternative date available for a cancelled hire, we are more than happy to arrange a refund for you.
