The Prawn Rock Channel is located close to where the Wilson Inlet flows into the Southern Ocean at Ocean Beach (when the beach is breached). Depending on the time of year the channel is either turquoise blue with the ocean water flowing into it or dark blue/grey with the inlet flowing through it out towards sea🌊
I`ve been waiting to capture the turquoise blue for a long time, yesterday I finally ticked it off my list📸

When my family and I left Perth in 2018 longing for a tree change, Porongurup was the first place we called home in the Great Southern. I have a lot of gratitude for these mountains for they embraced me at a time I need to be embraced the most. Castle Rock is heavily promoted on socials, so here I am offering a different perspective seen this long weekend. I was gifted this beautiful shell at Greens Pool, the waves washed her to my feet, as though it was a gift directly to me. I think it`s beautiful as it is but am also going to buff it back a little as I can see what lies beneath & it`s got me excited🐚
