John Forrest: Waterfalls, Wandoo & Wildflowers

John Forrest: Waterfalls, Wandoo & Wildflowers

Experience Overview

Welcome to John Forrest: Waterfalls, Wandoo & Wildflowers, a journey that invites you to immerse yourself in the rich landscapes of John Forrest National Park, Perth’s oldest and most iconic national park.

This three and a half hour guided experience takes you through a breathtaking natural sanctuary, where towering Wandoo and Jarrah forests, seasonal wildflowers, and cascading waterfalls create a space of deep relaxation and renewal.

Led by Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Eco Therapist Chelle Fisher, this immersive experience encourages you to slow down, awaken your senses, and engage with nature through the practice of Forest Therapy. Wander along scenic bushland trails, framed by ancient trees, dramatic granite outcrops, and flowing creeks, as you embark on a mindful journey of connection.

Through curated invitations, you will deepen your relationship with the land, engaging in gentle breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and sensory exploration designed to foster presence, awareness, and inner peace. During wildflower season, the park bursts into a kaleidoscope of native blooms, adding vibrant color and life to your surroundings.

The experience culminates at a spectacular waterfall, where we pause to take in the sights and sounds of the cascading waters. Here, we will gather at a scenic granite outcrop to enjoy a bush tucker-infused morning tea, thoughtfully prepared to nourish both body and soul. As you sip and savor the unique flavors of native ingredients, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect, share, and embrace the serenity of the moment, allowing the natural world to provide a sense of renewal and connection.

Join us for this tranquil retreat into the heart of John Forrest National Park, where waterfalls, ancient woodlands, and wildflowers create a deeply restorative and enriching experience.
