Tour Overview

Welcome to "Mindful Trails & Creative Tales: A Journey of Creativity and Wellness," where nature, mindfulness, and artistic expression converge to offer a rejuvenating experience.

Led by a Certified Nature & Forest Therapy guide and Eco-therapist, Chelle Fisher invites you on a transformative journey beginning with a guided walking tour through the scenic natural landscapes of the Joseph and Dulcie Nannup Trail alongside the Serpentine River. Immerse yourself in the present moment as you engage in mindfulness exercises designed to deepen your awareness and enhance your overall well-being, fostering a sense of calm and renewal.

Throughout the experience, our expert guide will provide insights into the profound impact of nature on mental wellness, offering strategies for stress management, mood enhancement, and cognitive clarity. You'll have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and reflective activities that encourage personal growth and community connection, fostering a supportive environment for shared insights and experiences.

As we continue our exploration, you'll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity through nature-inspired art activities. Guided by our facilitators, use provided materials to sketch landscapes, journal personal reflections, and capture the essence of your mindful journey. Whether you're a seasoned artist or exploring creative expression for the first time, this hands-on experience encourages self-discovery and artistic exploration in a nurturing environment.

Our experience culminates with a bush tucker inspired morning tea, where we come together as a collective to share our insights and thoughts on the experience over a beautiful spread of local flavors. It's a moment to reflect on the journey, connect with fellow participants, and savor the tastes of Mandurah's natural bounty.

Join us on this holistic journey of self-care and inspiration, where each step along the Joseph and Dulcie Nannup Trail offers a chance to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with both nature and yourself. "Mindful Trails & Creative Tales" invites you to embrace the beauty of Mandurah's natural landscapes, cultivating mindfulness, fostering creativity, and nurturing your overall well-being.

Additional Information

Hike length & difficulty

This is a very easy hiking experience less than 3kms.

No hiking experience is necessary. The trail is flat even surface with no steps or steep sections.

What happens if it rains?

Due to the reflective and creative nature of the activities involved in this experience, such as sitting for mindfulness practices, nature drawing, and journaling, we typically do not run this walk in the rain. In the unfortunate event that rain is forecast or occurs, we will reschedule the experience to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants.

Toilet & Parking facilities

Toilets are available at the start and end of the tour experience.

Plenty of parking is available in the vicinity. I have personally never had issues here but a reminder to never leave valuables in your car.

Is the tour child friendly

Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. For the consideration of all participants, the minimum age for this walking tour is 8 years old due to the mindfulness reflections that often require silence.
