Join us at the Waterways Adventure Hub on the Western Foreshore for a creative and engaging family activity celebrating ocean life!

Families are invited to let their imaginations run wild and craft stunning sand sculptures that represent the beauty and diversity of marine life. Basic sand sculpturing equipment will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own tools to enhance their creations.

You’ll have up to two hours to design your masterpiece, and whether you use the full time or finish early, you’re encouraged to enjoy the surrounding area with a picnic (BYO) or a stroll along the beautiful foreshore while others complete their designs.

Once the creative time is up, our youth leader judges will evaluate each sculpture and award prizes across the following categories:

Most Creative Design

Most Lifelike Sculpture

Best Representation of Ocean Life

Eco-Inspired Award (for incorporating sustainability or conservation themes)
